“What does it cost to have my portraits done?”
This is the most common question that I am asked, and understandably so! While we all may want custom portraits created of our families (and selves!), most of us would like to know what to budget, so we can be able to plan accordingly and get the most out of the entire experience. Before I go on about pricing, I would like to tell you a little bit about what a custom lifestyle portrait session is like…
Before your session, we will discuss where you would like to have your portraits created: inside your home, your backyard, that great front porch, or maybe a favorite park or beach. If it is for your newborn, most likely we will be inside your home. After the location is chosen, we will discuss the best time and date, and then move on to clothing options, along with any props or such that you may wish to include. Your session is all yours, no outside distractions, no hectic malls or long lines to deal with. You will have 1 to 2 hours dedicated to you and your session. We will have fun, try new things, capture both a mix of posed and totally candid shots, and if we need to take a break for the little ones to eat or what have you. You are welcome to change outfits or go from shoes to bare feet! The point is to capture your own unique personality.
